For the love of chess. That is the answer we give when asked why we started this cafe. For the love of chess.

We offer private and group chess lessons. We host many tournaments and our teachers are the those that are teaching chess in the Bloomington and Normal school districts.

Very soon we will be selling premium coffee and other beverages. So come in for a game or come in for a cup of our premium coffee, either way, come

Chess is defined by Wikipedia as a recreational and competitive game played between two players. The current form of the game emerged in Southern Europe during the second half of the 15th century after evolving from similar, much older games of Indian and Persian origin. Today, chess is one of the world's most popular games, played by millions of people worldwide at home, in clubs, online, by correspondence, and in tournaments.
